Apple Fitness + is available on iPhone (6S and later, under iOS 14.3 at least), iPad under iPadOS 15 and Apple TV under tvOS 15. A minimum of Apple Watch Series 3 connected watch is required to use the service. Note that it is also integrated into the latest tier of the Apple One offer which, for $ 29.95 per month, includes Apple TV +, Apple Music, Apple Fitness +, Apple Arcade and 2TB of iCloud storage.

If you’ve purchased an Apple Watch (Series 3 and later) since September 14, you will be eligible for a three-month free trial of Apple Fitness +.

It is during the day that Apple will open the doors of its Fitness + service in France and Switzerland in particular. After the English-speaking countries for a year, these home sports lessons are now broadcast in Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Portugal, as well as Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, and in Russia.

Many new countries but content that remains in English with subtitles to follow the instructions of the coaches. Contrary to what it has done with some shows for its radio service, Apple has not produced Fitness + content overseas with local trainers.

The Fitness + classes, which range from 5 to 45 minutes, can be done with equipment when you are equipped with an exercise bike, a rower, or a treadmill for example, but it is not a prerequisite. Just as it is not essential to be devilishly sharp, there are several levels.

The range of activities is wide and has grown over the months, Apple regularly filling the catalog of courses and more occasionally that of disciplines (sheathing, split, yoga, dance, pilates, etc.).

The sessions can be followed on the small screen of your iPhone (6s minimum) as well as on your iPad or in front of your television with an Apple TV (the last two generations are cheaper on the refurb ). Interestingly, Fitness + is compatible with family sharing, everyone can go at their own pace with the content of their choice.

The other essential part for using the service is the Apple Watch (Series 3 minimum). The data collected by the watch during the effort – the filling of the rings and your physical expenditure – will synchronize and be displayed on the screen with which you follow your course. This way you always have an eye on your progress.
